It’s been a year since I started my new law practice. Yes, time flies! Twelve months ago I set out on this new venture and I cannot thank you enough for your trust and confidence in me by referring your friends, family and business associates.
Over the last twelve months, I have had an opportunity to work with some great business owners that have been inspiring with what they have accomplished or set out to accomplish. Below is a sampling of what I have been able to help out with:
- Assisted a restaurant owner who has multiple locations throughout the Central Valley with the appropriate entity selection (S-corp in this case) to help limit personal liability.
- Advised a major family-owned manufacturing company in Fresno on how to pass on the business to the next generation.
- Negotiated the settlement of a significant wage & hour claim against a local company.
- Advised the owner of a Madera-based transportation company on the sale of the business assets.
- Represented the owner of a Fresno based company on a commercial real estate transaction.
- Advised a local restaurant on a commercial lease that will allow the owner to have a second location in Fresno.
- Assisted the shareholders of a local technology company set up a buy-sell agreement in case something happens to one of them (death, divorce, disability or disagreement).
